The National Aquaculture Association (NAA) is pleased to release an infographic sharing the results of a recent economic analysis conducted by a distinguished team of economists, led by Dr. Ganesh Kumar of Mississippi State University.

The analysis found that U.S. aquaculture farms have a $4 billion direct economic impact to the U.S. economy, provide over 22,000 jobs and benefit 96% of other economic sectors! The study also estimated that U.S. aquaculture farm’s total economic impact is 3-4x higher than their direct revenue.
