The Center for the Advancement of Foodservice Education (CAFÉ) will hold their annual conference in Portland, Maine during June 22-24, 2022. CAFÉ represents culinary educators from across the country.
The National Aquaculture Association (NAA) will be presenting an in-depth learning session, Fish for the Future. The session will focus on the positive benefits of U.S. farm-raised fish and shellfish. NAA also has the opportunity to host a learning station during the opening reception. This would be an opportunity for you to showcase a U.S. farm-raised product. In the past, NAA/producers served items like catfish tacos, conducted a short product quiz, and raffled off a seafood cookbook. The grower would provide product and a recipe that would be prepared by local chefs. This is a great opportunity to educate teachers who, in turn, reach thousands of students.
