The Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigation (PDI) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Michigan State University is seeking a veterinarian with experience and interest in aquatic animal medicine and aquaculture to participate in a fully funded multi-state and multi-institution 2-year research project. This tenure track or health professional (clinical track) position will be further supported beyond the 2-year project for this individual to develop and carry out an outreach aquaculture health mission for Michigan and the Great Lakes region. Michigan State University has a long history of aquatic animal health research and outreach, with collaborations throughout the Great Lakes region, the US, and the world. We are seeking an innovative, service-oriented, highly effective communicator with expertise to continue this strong tradition of outreach as well as teaching and research within the CVM, helping lead us into the future where global aquaculture will continue to grow.
