We’ve got an exciting announcement for a location-negotiable position in the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, Branch of Hatchery Operations and Applied Science, headquarters team. Please take look at the links and descriptions below and fill out an application if you’re interested. It’s two weeks or 100 applications, so it may close quickly!

The National Fish Hatchery System’s (NFHS) headquarters team prioritizes people and work culture to create conservation success. We are part of the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s Fish and Aquatic Conservation (FAC) program, and we’re looking for a Project Manager and Process Analyst for the Branch of Hatchery Ops and Applied Science.  You’ll work with team members at headquarters and across the country to assure our facilities and assets are maintained and operational, our priorities are pursued, and our conservation program is maximized.

The NFHS manages close to 100 species across over 80 facilities, and this position is critical to success for the program and conservation. This teammate focuses on planning and managing over $3.5 billion in real property assets and aligning operational budgets with national priorities. This is done not only by collecting, analyzing, and managing data, but also by working with diverse teams to identify maintenance and operational needs, assess and develop policies, and streamline business processes.

We value a work/life balance, creative thinking, teamwork, commitment, and camaraderie.
