The Riverence Group, the largest trout producer in the U.S., has appointed Sean Nepper as its new CEO, the third CEO within the past year. Nepper, who has been with the company since 2017 and has nearly three decades of aquaculture experience, previously served as the chief operating officer. He succeeds Brandon Gottsacker, who became CEO in February while also serving as president of Superior Fresh, and Rob Young, who had been CEO since 2014. The Riverence Group, founded by David E. Kelley, aims to support ocean conservation and wild salmon populations through land-based aquaculture. Nepper is committed to this vision and to maintaining the company’s leadership in the industry. The executive team, including CFO Rick Sullivan, CSO Jesse Trushenski, and CLO Karen Henderson, remains unchanged.
