The USTFA Board of Directors recently appointed Landen Talbot to join their ranks and help guide the organization and industry. Landen lives in Twin Falls, Idaho, with his wife and two daughters. Originally from Utah, he moved to Idaho in 2009 where he attended school while working at the University of Idaho Aquaculture Research Institute. After graduating, Landen started working for Troutlodge Inc, a Hendrix Genetics company, where he has worked for the past 10 years. He has managed production farms and R&D facilities for most of that time. In 2024, Landen was promoted to the Sales and Logistics Manager position where he oversees all the company’s global sales and sales representatives. Landen has a strong passion for what he does, which keeps him motivated within the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys everything outdoors. In addition to his aquaculture bona fides, he is a PSIA-certified ski instructor and spends most of his free time in the winter, on the mountain, teaching people about winter sports. Landen’s life highly revolves around aquaculture, and he feels lucky to live and work around fish and fish farmers. Welcome to the USTFA Board of Directors, Landen!
