Now Open: WRAC Request for Research & Outreach Pre-Proposals FY2025 – Due April 10, 2026

The Western Regional Aquaculture Center (WRAC) Request for Research & Outreach Pre-Proposals (RFP) for FY2027 is now open for submissions through April 10, 2026. 

The RFP is available on the WRAC website on the Current Funding Opportunities page. Applicants are encouraged to view the informational video, “Mastering Your WRAC Proposal: Essential Tips and Strategies”; although created for the previous RFP, its guidance remains fully applicable for developing a successful submission this round.

Based on extensive input from the aquaculture industry and extension and research representatives throughout the region, the Western Regional Aquaculture Center (WRAC) is seeking Pre-Proposals for ten research areas, listed below alphabetically. WRAC volunteers, who are available to answer your questions, are listed at the top of each priority area page.
