As part of our ongoing USTFA board member spotlights, we are excited to feature Landen Talbot, a key voice on our board and a dedicated advocate for the trout industry. Based in Twin Falls, Idaho, Landen serves as the Global Sales Manager for Troutlodge, bringing a unique, high-level perspective to USTFA.

A World of Trout Production

Landen’s role affords him a rare vantage point on the industry. From the most sophisticated, high-tech indoor facilities to simplistic, traditional farms, he has seen it all.

“I am very fortunate to have a position that exposes me to every method and purpose of trout farming globally,” Landen says. “I get full exposure to the environmental conditions and challenges people face around the world – from sea cages and ideal indoor production to low-oxygen environments at 16,000 feet. My favorite aspect is connecting with the diverse people behind that production.”

Beyond the Water

When he isn’t navigating the complexities of global trout sales, Landen is focused on his most important role: being a father to his two daughters. He is dedicated to enriching their lives through travel and shared experiences, ensuring they see as much of the world as he does.

When it comes to enjoying the product he works so hard to promote, Landen leans toward a fresh, vibrant preparation. His top pick? Peruvian Ceviche.
